[Yum] yum produces ImportError

does it happen on 0.8.8?

I know I fixed a couple of typo's from .6->.8 that might be worth
checking.

yah, looking at it now.

line 21 doesn't import conf anymore.

get 0.8.8 - see if it is fixed.
you get gzipped headers in 0.8.8 anyway :)
