Seth, I don't quite understand the thing about no Contenet-Length...but it appears that FTP urls aren't working. [root@anduril tmp]# /usr/sbin/yum -d 4 update Gathering package information from servers server name/cachedir:7.3 main-/var/cache/yum/server ERROR: Url Return no Content-Length - something is wrong URL: ftp://kickstart.linux.ncsu.edu/pub/realmkit/7.3/i386/headers/header.info [root@anduril tmp]# Now if I do a wget of that URL I get the header.info file fine. My config: [root@anduril tmp]# cat /etc/yum.conf [main] cachedir=/var/cache/yum debuglevel=2 logfile=/var/log/yum.log [server] name=7.3 main baseurl=ftp://kickstart.linux.ncsu.edu/pub/realmkit/7.3/i386/ #[updates] #name=7.3 updates #baseurl=http://localhost/updates/ #[finished] #name=dulug finished rpms #baseurl=http://localhost/finished/ jack -- Jack Neely <slack@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Linux Realm Kit Administration and Development PAMS Computer Operations GPG Fingerprint: 1917 5AC1 E828 9337 7AA4 EA6B 213B 765F 3B6A 5B89
