I think moving it to flutter.io is a better idea

Hi Ben,

Thank you for interest in the project.

I wanted to know if this would fall under the same project as "Improving Fedora Android App” or would it count as different project since I am suggesting building an iOS port from the ground up.

This project uses Ionic/Cordova and the core of the project is already
platform independent. We are not aiming to build an iOS port from
scratch.

Currently, the app does not build on iOS due to a couple of Android
specific code I wrote last summer. Rather, the objective is to port a
couple of native plugins to iOS (such as custombrowsertabs), make sure
the app builds for iOS and verify that all the features work. An iOS
release is currently not planned.

The complete project idea is to enhance the functionality of the app
--- iOS port, or rather build, is just one of the ideas among them and
not the complete project.

I would discourage building a complete port from scratch, it will be
twice the maintenance effort, and we don't have many iOS developers in
our community who could assist us in this task.

Should you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Most of the discussions happen on

group, let's continue on this thread on the list itself.

Best,
Amitosh
