Regarding GSoC Projects

Hello Devs,

I'm Nadeeshan Gimhana and I'm a Computer Science and Engineering  undergraduate of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Since my experience and interest in the fields Android Application Development, C# , REST APIs , JS I would like to contribute Improve Fedora Android App - Backend and  ASP.NET Core web application for /r/Fedora subreddit and Discord.

How should  I begin to contribute those projects ? Should I personally contact the relevant mentors for clarifications or can I use mailing lists ?
