Creating your application on the wiki or sending it to the mailing doesnt indicate your application is submitted, if we cannot find it on the google-melange.com This information is provided on the student guide as well. Forwarding your proposal to the mailing list will give you some comments from all the contributors who are interested. Placing proposal in wiki ease keeping records.
