I was contacted by a sponsor interested in providing 100 EUR each for these projects, in addition to whatever funding they receive: * http://seamframework.org/Community/StudentProjects * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Summer_Coding_2010_ideas_-_Unified_Mobile_Sync_-_shortinfo * http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Summer_Coding_2010_ideas_-_Unified_ink_level_reporting I haven't looked to see if there are any pending proposals on those projects. Presuming there are, and the proposals are good enough to support by Fedora/JBoss.org, then I am in favor of this company providing additional bounty tied to these specific projects. The student would have to invoice for work performed and deal with the local income tax requirements, which is the same case for other summer coding funding. I put up a discussion page: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Talk:Summer_Coding_Sponsors Any thoughts? Objections? Support? Rotten fruit?
