This is one of slow functions, so this makes the rd command very slow, 
e.g. "rd 7f88aa3ff000 32" takes more than 1 second on a machine:

Does this mean that the current "memset(buf, entry, len)" is a bug, 
because entry is ulong, right?  If so, I agree.
