Thank you for working on this and the patch.
But sorry, John (the author of the lockless ringbuffer) posted before
an RFC crash patch for it
for us and I think it's easy to read and maintain enough, so I would
like to implement it based
on his patch and posted an updated patch [1].  If you have any
comments, please let us know.
