You should be able to pass arbitrary mount options by using the (non-guaranteed) XML namespace: https://libvirt.org/formatstorage.html#storage-pool-namespaces
If not, how hard would it be to implement this functionality? Please advise.
The most difficult would probably be deciding on the XML (and whether we want to expose this option in the XML). Code-wise, we only seem to support the 'nfsvers' mount option for NFS via regular XML. Jano
