It does not seem to be mentioned in libvirt-python docs at this time, indeed.
I have qemu-guest-agent running on the guest, and want to1 extract os information.
However, it has been implemented in upstream libvirt-python in a rather old commit[1]. You can build from source to keep your local language binding up-to-date if the function is not implemented in the version provided by your current distribution.
