Why not upgrade to qemu-kvm-1.1 instead?  There have been a lot of fixes
since 0.14.0.

Are you using a distro?  If so, this may be a question better asked of
your distro.  If not, then how did you originally install qemu?  Just
repeat those steps on a newer tarball.
