Hi all,

I am trying to use virt-install to install domU image. However, I encountered the following issue. It seems that a connection driver is needed for Xen.
I am new to both libvirt and Xen. Anyone have any ideas on what's wrong with the following error ?

# virt-install --connect=xen:/// -p -d
Thu, 15 Mar 2012 10:17:55 DEBUG    Launched with command line:
/usr/bin/virt-install --connect=xen:/// -p -d
Thu, 15 Mar 2012 10:17:55 DEBUG    Requesting libvirt URI xen:///
Thu, 15 Mar 2012 10:17:55 ERROR    no connection driver available for No connection for URI xen:///
Thu, 15 Mar 2012 10:17:55 DEBUG    Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/virt-install", line 1004, in <module>
    sys.exit(main())
  File "/usr/bin/virt-install", line 984, in main
    conn = cli.getConnection(options.
connect)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/virtinst/cli.py", line 327, in getConnection
    conn = open_connection(uri)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/virtinst/cli.py", line 342, in open_connection
    open_flags)
  File "/usr/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/libvirt.py", line 102, in openAuth
    if ret is None:raise libvirtError('virConnectOpenAuth() failed')
libvirtError: no connection driver available for No connection for URI xen:///

By the way, Xen is installed successfully as both "xm list" and "xm info" can output appropriately.

Thanks,
