Yeah, that was my guessing, shutoff domains on your
source host are transicient, they don't have domain
xml store on disk in /etc/libvirt/qemu/

I mean file copy, using scp. I've copied the qcow2 image and the xml
config file.
virt-manager gives me the same result. If I log in to the guest and
shut it down, it disappears from the UI.
