  Gasp, somehow the push failed in the middle, re-ran it:

thinkpad:~/libvirt ->  git push origin tag v1.2.6
Counting objects: 246, done.
Delta compression using up to 4 threads.
Compressing objects: 100% (160/160), done.
Writing objects: 100% (160/160), 2.18 MiB | 447.00 KiB/s, done.
Total 160 (delta 140), reused 0 (delta 0)
To ssh://libvirt.org/git/libvirt.git
 * [new tag]         v1.2.6 -> v1.2.6
thinkpad:~/libvirt ->

  should be okay, now, thanks for the heads-up !
