Please fix your workflow to NOT answer 'y' to git's question about what message your patch series is in-reply-to. It incorrectly threads your message. For that matter, if you upgrade to a newer version of git, git will automatically reject attempts to answer 'y', as it is not a valid in-reply-to setting.
