Elsewhere, we use the shorter "affect running domain",

and "affect current domain".  I'm not sure which construction makes more
sense, or if your re-wording helps.  Is it worth making a longer commit
message explaining what you found confusing with the old wording, and
why you are adding yet another string for translation instead of using a
common string?

Again, "modify" and "set" mean the same thing, so I'm not sure if this
change makes any difference.

I was debating about including this in 1.1.2 - since it's doc-only, it's
okay even during freeze, but I'm not sure it's needed in the first
place, without more rationale.
