The fix isn't 100% correct. Here vshGetSnapshotParent expects the snaplist to be populated.

A few lines behind this context,

            if (from) {
                snaps[snaplist->nsnaps++] = from;

This line needs to be changed to access snaplist instead of snaps.

                virDomainSnapshotRef(from);
            }
