If I'm not mistaken, this is v3?  When using git send-mail, you can use
--subject-prefix=PATCHv3 to make it more obvious to reviewers.

Also, listing a summary of changes since v2, after the --- line, can aid
in review.

I haven't looked closely at the patch yet, but hope to get to it today.
