But the spacing here is weird... is that my mail client or the actual patch?
That <controller> should be indented. Other tests are similarly changed.

I guess that's the famous thunderbird bug (or is that actually a feature
now?).

I have no idea, but today I got fed up enough that I decided to work around it. I placed an extension at http://people.redhat.com/pbonzini/format-flawed.tar.gz -- you're welcome to expand it in "~/.thunderbird/<profile name>/extensions" and test it.

Since the buggy code is in C++, it just disables format=flowed when replying to non-format=flowed messages. It's ugly as hell, but it does the job.
