We already have .dir-locals.el to auto-set indentation for emacs users;
does vim support a directory-local configuration file that would be
worth checking into libvirt.git to make vim auto-indent with consistent
rules for all files found in the libvirt directory tree?  [If you
haven't guessed, I'm not a vim user]
