I've just remembered that actually anaconda can load a kickstart file from all sorts of interesting places.....including a file on a disk in the machine. So you could create a floppy disk image, containing the kickstart file, add it to the guest XML and boot with "ks=file:fd0/ks.cfg" thus avoiding any need to load it over the network I found this tip here: http://www.redhat.com/magazine/024oct06/features/kickstart/ I'm just trying to get my machines working again so I can actually try out your test cases myself...then i give any more feedback...
