+  * conf: Add support for keeping TPM emulator state
+

Is this a new feature, maybe?

+    Currently, swtpm TPM state file is removed when a transient domain is +    powered off or undefined. Add per-TPM emulator option ``persistent_sate``

Ouch, did we introduce another XML element using an underscore?

Indeed we did. I thought that what we don't like is 'persistent-state' but allow 'persistent_state' or 'persistentState'. Do we have preference over the two? If so, I can still fix it before it's released.
