  Depends on the host OS. For Fedora 12 and RHEL-6 , then libvirt
if 0.7.4 or later will be compiled with udev. If not it will fallback
to hal

  It's more a question of what method s supported on the host OS rather
than picking one or the other, libvirt will just use the preferred
method.
