Rather than removing this else branch, I think we should have an explict
check for None first

   if (pyobj_dict == Py_None) {
       ...no op..
   } else if (PyDict_Check(....)) {
   } else {
       .... error ...
   }

Can you do that & validate that it works with oVirt.
