The code here is:

    if (mounts)
        qsort(mounts, nmounts, sizeof(mounts[0]),
              virStringSortRevCompare);

Hence ...

... IMHO it is a better idea to move the whole for loop inside the
'if (mounts)' above.

Same idea here: just use a simple if to detect when 'mounts' is non-null.
