Can you try the latest libvirt GIT codebase. There's been quite alot of change since 0.6.5 in GIT and it may well have (accidentally) fixed the problem you see. I'm unable to reproduce it myself, but there's always the possiblity of a race condition somewhere that only certain people would hit.
