FWIW, the Author lines are largely irrelevant when looking at who authored code, they are at best incomplete, and at worst outright misleading, so we tend to recommend people not to pay attention to them. The GIT history contains the true accurate authorship information and your name is still recorded there, so the fact that you did the work would not be lost even without the Author line present. If anything I would suggst we could bulk remove them from all code since because of their incomplete & misleading nature, but that's a larger can of worms.
