That's correct, Mandriva's server kernel is using 100 hz:

$ uname -a
Linux n4.mandriva.com 2.6.22.12-server-1mdv #1 SMP Tue Nov 20 09:35:09 EST 2007 i686 Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.80GHz GNU/Linux
$ zgrep HZ /proc/config.gz 
CONFIG_NO_HZ=y
CONFIG_HZ_100=y
# CONFIG_HZ_250 is not set
# CONFIG_HZ_300 is not set
# CONFIG_HZ_1000 is not set
CONFIG_HZ=100
CONFIG_MACHZ_WDT=m
