Python and Perl are the two bindings which always aim to have pretty much
100% coverage of APIs. The other bindings are less comprehensive and mostly
developed on as "as needed" basis - ie people add APIs as & when they have
a need for them. We of course welcome patches to add further API support to
the bindings from anyone who has the ability to do that work.
