Hi I have tested migration function VirDomain object by migrating with in localhost(for testing purpose). System details are KVM hypervisor. Intel VT 64 bit centos. libvirt 0.4.6. (compiled from source) vs i am running is Win 2003 64 bit... Host is also 64 bit.... but when i tried to use the migrate function of virDomain object. it throws the following error.... libvirt.libvirtError: virDomainMigrate() failed this function is not supported by the hypervisor: virDomainMigrate i read in kvm wiki that they do support migration.... Can anyone point out the problem.... here comes the python code.... >>> vsobj.migrate(conn,libvirt.VIR_MIGRATE_LIVE,None,conn.getURI(),0) libvir: error : this function is not supported by the hypervisor: virDomainMigrate Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in ? File "/usr/lib64/python2.4/site-packages/libvirt.py", line 301, in migrate if ret is None:raise libvirtError('virDomainMigrate() failed', dom=self) libvirt.libvirtError: virDomainMigrate() failed this function is not supported by the hypervisor: virDomainMigrate >>> Thanks for any suggestion -- Shan -- Libvir-list mailing list Libvir-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/libvir-list
