Does the 'reboot' method do the job here as well? Assuming you can get a pointer to the xmlDomainPtr of the defined but not running domain, then the entry point is domainCreate in the driver. If the domain is not defined, then the entry point is domainCreateLinux and it takes an XML descritpion in. The corresponding entry point in the API are: http://libvirt.org/html/libvirt-libvirt.html#virDomainCreate and http://libvirt.org/html/libvirt-libvirt.html#virDomainCreateLinux Hope this clarifies things :-) Daniel -- Red Hat Virtualization group http://redhat.com/virtualization/ Daniel Veillard | virtualization library http://libvirt.org/ veillard@xxxxxxxxxx | libxml GNOME XML XSLT toolkit http://xmlsoft.org/ http://veillard.com/ | Rpmfind RPM search engine http://rpmfind.net/ -- Libvir-list mailing list Libvir-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/libvir-list
