As Debian and Ubuntu do *not* use treeinfo, let's just pass the path to their kernel/initrd (in the same way done for old Fedoras). Although there was a discussion about naming ubuntu/debian trees differently, it doesn't apply to this series and we're neither forcing treeinfo usage for Debian/Ubuntu nor creating a new "tree" type. Mind that osinfo_db_guess_from_tree() would fail for Debian/Ubuntu as, at least for now, there's no reliable way to recognize their trees (but that's an on-going discussion and those patches do *not* depend on that). - Changes since v2: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libosinfo/2018-November/msg00326.html - Added the kernel/initrd path for the distros not using treeinfo (debian and ubuntu) - Dropped debian7 from the series (as it's quite old and its URL will likely be removed soon anyways) - Changes since v1: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libosinfo/2018-November/msg00313.html - Removed all the wrongly added "treeinfo" from v1 and only left the URLs Fabiano Fidêncio (8): opensuse15.0: Add tree's URL info opensuse-tumbleweed: Add tree's URL info debian8: Add tree's URL info debian9: Add tree's URL info debian-testing: Add tree's URL info ubuntu18.04: Add tree's URL info ubuntu18.10: Add tree's URL info ubuntu19.04: Add tree's URL info data/os/debian.org/debian-8.xml.in | 11 ++++++++++ data/os/debian.org/debian-9.xml.in | 21 +++++++++++++++++++ data/os/debian.org/debian-testing.xml.in | 11 ++++++++++ data/os/opensuse.org/opensuse-15.0.xml.in | 9 ++++++++ .../opensuse.org/opensuse-tumbleweed.xml.in | 8 +++++++ data/os/ubuntu.com/ubuntu-18.04.xml.in | 11 ++++++++++ data/os/ubuntu.com/ubuntu-18.10.xml.in | 11 ++++++++++ data/os/ubuntu.com/ubuntu-19.04.xml.in | 11 ++++++++++ 8 files changed, 93 insertions(+) -- 2.19.1 _______________________________________________ Libosinfo mailing list Libosinfo@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/libosinfo
