Yes you're right, I forgot we removed the code which parsed the osinfo database in libguestfs >= 1.38. > virt-builder-repository uses osinfo-db, reading its files directly. Also virt-v2v will use libosinfo in the near future to get Q35 info about guests. I don't think this changes the point that libosinfo should have only a soft dependency on libguestfs.
