Hey, I originally wanted to revisit https://www.redhat.com/archives/libosinfo/2013-March/msg00091.html as 18 months have passed since that thread. I rebased/reworked the initial patch, and while testing it (export IBOSINFO_NETWORK_TESTS=1; make check), I fixed some issues with debian/ubuntu/fedora/altlinux data.
