Thanks for testing! I'd then say that we should require password in
the install script. Don't think its really worth testing the older
media if it was required or not then but alternatively you could do
that if you like. Even if they didn't require it, the only solution
would be to have a separate script for older and new versions and I
really don't think that's worth it.
