IIRC this is correct too but when I tested yesterday I got a message without the internet connection. Something like: "No internet connection present. Do you want to continue without it?" I can grab the exact message later. Takes a lot of time to test those things... Maybe debian tries to grab the newest packages or so and there may be some way to avoid that. (Thats what the FIXME's for.) I tried to preseed this question when I was building the desktop script but found no way at that time. I think that this kind of question is not meant to be preseeded in the first place thats why I stopped searching assuming that it may well be impossible.
