Might I suggest âyum grouplist -vâ so as to get the list with the âshort nameâ for each group that can be used without have to quote the spaces in the group
name?
# yum grouplist -v | grep -I mysql
MySQL Database client (mysql-client)
MySQL Database server (mysql)
# yum groupinstall mysql

Asunto: RHEL6 package group changes
Does someone know of a list of a package group translation for rhel6 that are equivalent to the prior versions? We typically include the following groups, but all have changed names under rhel6, but to what?
@ X Window System
@ GNOME Desktop Environment
@ KDE (K Desktop Environment)
@ Editors
@ Engineering and Scientific
@ Graphical Internet
@ Office/Productivity
@ Sound and Video
@ Graphics
@ Web Server
@ Windows File Server
@ Development Tools
@ Administration Tools
@ System Tools
@ Printing Support
Going through the comps file by hand does not seem to be the best way to figure this out.
