So my question is:
Does somebody know this behavior? And If yes is there a way to
get around this or to make it working?

network --device eth0 --bootproto static --ip 10.10.10.XX --netmask
255.255.255.0 --gateway 10.10.10.1 --nameserver 10.10.10.1
Hi Ruediger, the problem is that this stuff is build during installation
in the kickstart file
So I am not able to pre-define this information!

You want to set only the IP. This allows the computer to load the kickstart script?

/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default:
label Install
kernel vmlinuz
append initrd=initrd.img eth0=10.10.10.xx .... ks=nfs:.......

Is that what you are looking for?

cya
  Ruediger
