Well, if the VLAN definition stops in the switchport , the connected
machine does not know if it is on a VLAN or not, so it should just
work .

If you want to network install connected to a port that is in trunk-mode
(i.e. several VLAN's is visible to the host, ) I'm not sure if it is
possible.
