All our hosts are installed via KickStart. AFAIK KickStart is not granular enuogh to be specifying libraries down to the arch level. Good luck and I'd be interested to hear the culprit & resolution if/when found. I'm the only one currently using these hosts currently, so interference is not the problem here. If there were some way to turn this OFF in kickstart, that might be the culprit, but the KickStart scriptage all seems pretty plain.
