Sounds like you may want something like systemimager, not kickstart:

Subject: kickstart from a HD image

Has anyone created a Hard drive image that runs a linux kernel or
syslinux to kickstart Red Hat via network install?

What I'm looking for is a way to send a hard drive image using something
like Ghost. The image would contain the vmlinuz and initrd.img file to
start the installer. The image would also need to work on multiple
machine types, ie: different disk geometry, hardware, etc...
