There a many ways to use a kickstart file.  The question may be more of
where can anaconda find the kickstart file.  However, you are not
limited to using just http, or ftp installations when you use a
kickstart file.  You can use NFS and CD-ROM too.  A floppy disk, another
harddrive, a USB drive, etc can hold the ks.cfg file for any of these
methods.
