This is completely wild guess. What happens if you change old: part pv.2 --size=0 --grow --ondisk=sda new: part pv.2 --size=1 --grow --ondisk=sda Anyway it has something to do with partitioning... Perhaps the existing partitions are screwing it up. I've seen that happen quite often with software RAID for example. regards, dan carpenter
