Sample kickstart command:
linux ks=http://199.0.0.100/kickstart/u_ios_ks.cfg ip=199.0.0.5
netmask=255.255.255.0 ksdevice=eth0
also fails
I don't see anything obviously wrong. Here's the isolinux.cfg stanza
that we use for kickstarting RHL9 via a local http server:
default ks
prompt 1
timeout 40
label ks
kernel vmlinuz
append ksdevice=eth0 ks=http://10.4.0.42/pub/redhat.9.0/ks/ks.cfg
initrd=initrd.img text
Our machines have either dual 10/100 NICs or dual GigE NICs.
Differences between what you have and what we use:
- order of the ksdevice option
- kickstart file is named ks.cfg
- initrd option
You might want to play with some of those options. In any case, let us
know what you discover.
