find takes wildcards but they must be quoted:

find /var/tmp/redhat/RedHat/RPMS/ -name anaconda-"*".rpm

I've copied the four CDs provided by RedHat into /var/tmp/redhat/ and I
can't found any anaconda-*.rpm...

# find /var/tmp/redhat/RedHat/RPMS/ -name anaconda-*.rpm
#
