Xavier,

Your original post said you were using the IBM Bladecenter.  Which slot
do you have your network module plugged into?  If you have only one
network module, it has to be plugged into slot 1, not slot 0 on the back
of the chassis.

When we got our first BladeCenter months ago, we had a similar issue
with kickstart on standard eth0.  IBM finally told us the probe order of
the interfaces in Linux requires a single network module to be in slot
1.
