yea it seems like a feature from 7.3 and beyond.
Since AS2.1 is based on 7.2, the feature doesn't seem to be
working, but there must be a way to tell it to resolve or
ignore dependencies and not go interactive

Not soure about AS2.1, but I can duplicate this in RHL9.  --ignoredeps seems 
to do nothing, as deps are always resolved and added in.
