Hello I've been following- http://www.puschitz.com/Kickstart.shtml and http://sysadmin.cs.caltech.edu/docs/help/Linux/1722_boot_floppy I've replaced vmlinuz and created new modules.cgz with modules from 2.4.9-e.25BOOT during kickstart I'm getting the message The second stage of the install which you have selected does not match the boot disk which you are using. This shouldn't happen, and I'm rebooting your system now. after the installer downloads netstg1.img anyway down to my questions- do I need to rebuild hdlist or hdlist2 or am I right in thinking only the cd uses these? does the .buildstamp in netstg1.imm need updating / what is used by? Any help gratefully received Neil with rhel 2.1 u2 trying to http kickstart to updated RPMs including kernel replaced vmlinuz and created new modules.cgz with modules from 2.4.9-e.25BOOT getting message The second stage of the install which you have selected does not match the boot disk which you are using.
