Hi. Installing rh9 here as a desktop with appropriate desktop packaging. There is a firewall --disable in the kickstart. Shouldn't that turn iptables off? It has previously. In any event, iptables comes up in chkconfig as turned on after the new system boots. Took a while to figure out that iptables was on. We can urn it off in customization but I'd REALLY rather have the firewall --disable working as it should. Anyone else run it to this. Is this a wonderful new "feature"? Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chris Johnson |Internet: johnson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Systems Administrator |Web: http://www.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/~johnson NMR Center |Voice: 617.726.0949 Mass.
