dynamically generated parts of the ks.cfg file

one more question for now. from the Customization Guide,
section 7.6, the Pre-installation script, there is an example
of using a shell script to dynamically generate the
partitioning info.

but from what i read, the %pre section is read *after* the
ks.cfg is parsed. so how exactly does partitioning info
generated in the %pre section and placed in a text file
get %include'd in the ks.cfg file proper?

it seems that this is in the wrong order somehow, but
i'm sure someone will clear this up for me. thanks.
